Position Summary/Purpose:
Under the direction of a Department Manager, Shift Supervisor or Key Area Operator support production operations through accurate and timely movement of materials.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for weighing bins and recording weights. Placing product in proper locations. Returning WIP tags to operators. Use bar coding equipment.
- Must have full knowledge of all production locations and operations. Perform other duties as required.
- Knows the targets/goals for his/her work center and adjusts equipment to achieve targets.
- Informs Mechanical/Electrical staff when assistance is required.
- Drives a Lift Truck in a safe and responsible manner. Must have a good to excellent safety record on a lift truck.
- Understands and has reviewed/signed all Safe Work Procedures for the work area.
- Practices safe work procedures and wears all safety and sanitation equipment required for the job.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Forklift Certification
- 1 – 2 years warehouse experience
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Production Worker – Fabens, TX
Position Overview:
The production worker sorts product in multiple departments. Separating bad product that our machines are not capable of detecting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observes and removes faulty product parts from assembly line.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
- Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.
- Keeps factory floor clean.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.
- Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
- Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
Knowledge, Ability and Skills:

- Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis.
- Safety gear, such as goggles, gloves, and helmets should be worn on a regular basis.

Maintenance Mechanic-Fabens, TX
Job Summary:
To maintain, improve, fabricate, and repair Local plant and production equipment with responsibility for efficient and cost-effective operation and high product quality.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment, plan for and take corrective action.
- Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
- Establish PM program and make preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, report findings to supervisor and take appropriate action.
- Notify Plant Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed
- Promote good GMP’s and preventative maintenance programs to ensure plant is in proper condition for annual inspections.
- Ensure all plant equipment and work environments meet OSHA safety requirements. Advise Plant Manager of all unsafe work procedures or conditions.
- Keep management informed of Human Resource issues
- Have in-depth knowledge of all plant positions and serve as trainer for new employees and fill in the position as necessary.
- Direct equipment operators and production personnel in details of daily schedule, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Train all maintenance employees on proper safety procedure for mechanical and electrical work
- Supervise loading and unloading of product to ensure scheduling demands are met in an efficient manner
- Be familiar with weights and measures and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance
- Have in depth knowledge of all chemicals and fumigants used in the plant and ensure proper use and function.
- Assess plant operating procedures and processes on a regular basis to ensure maximum productivity.
- Acquire multiple bids from contractors to ensure the minimum cost for plant repairs.

Job Qualifications:

Farm Manager – Albany, GA
POSITION OVERVIEW:
National Pecan, LLC is seeking a proactive and results-driven Farm Unit Manager for the Albany and Lakeland GA. areas to be responsible for managing personnel, land, capital, machinery, and all other resources to produce high quality and high yielding crops, in addition to maximizing profits. The Farm Unit Manager will be the go-to technical expert on all areas of their assigned unit, as well as a leader who inspires and motivates others to perform with the highest integrity and level of performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor orchards for crop development, crop pests, soil moisture, weeds etc. Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Ensure timeliness of all agricultural practices on the unit, including land preparations, seedbed preparation, planting, cultivating, chemical and fertilizer application, irrigation, and harvesting.
- Direct activities on a farm unit to produce, harvest, and store crops, to achieve the greatest profitability per acre while improving the resource base.
- Identify areas of improvement; make recommendation on continuous improvement projects.
- Accountable for legal and safe application and documentation of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides.
- Develop and implement a quality annual crop plan effectively, efficiently, and on-time.
- Build, plan and budget for the stewardship.
- Manage, mentor and develop personnel on all policy, procedures, and safety in the performance of operations and tasks, per company standards.
- Select and train full-time, seasonal, and temporary employees required for their unit. Supervision extends to Manager Trainees, large planting and harvest crews, equipment operators, irrigators, and interns.
- Champion a best-in-class safety program by promoting continuous improvements through safety training attendance, compliance with all food safety programs, and encouraging the use of PPE and adherence to all other EHS programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Recent supervisory experience in an ag environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Proficient computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingual Spanish skills highly desired.
- Ability to obtain GA Private Applicator Certificate.
- Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job which includes lifting and carrying repetitively up to 50lbs. This job will occasionally be exposed to high, precarious places, and/or risk of electrical shock; frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals; and regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is often loud. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per applicable laws and regulations will be supplied.
- Must be able to accommodate the regular farm schedule of 55-75 hours per week, in addition to work nights and weekends, per business needs.
